Obama wins in my view. He says 2x more money for fundamental research, more teachers for high schools. McCain says something rather less specific except that Americans will be transported to Mars.

Agreed. I do not like many things about Obama, but at least he shows some interest in fundamental science.

If only Obama promised to push for repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax, I could vote for him.
